FAR Systems has installed more than 6,000 systems, with over 50,000 on-board devices currently used worldwide.
The importance of FAR Systems’ contribution to the development of on-board electronic technology in the railway industry is clear from the positions held by its engineers within the IEC and CENELEC technical committees and railway organisations such as UIC, UNIFE and ERA.
Far Systems has established an important partnership with Hyundai in the field of PSD (Platform Screen Doors). FAR Systems can now supply and install PSDs and people moving systems such as escalators and elevators for metropolitan and railway stations in general, exploiting the Group’s synergies to develop the required building and structural expertise.
